Coral Bells 'Amber Waves'

Type: Herbaceous perennial
Height: 8" (foliage), 12" (flowering stems)
Blooms: Summer 
Exposure:  Part Shade.  Leaf colors are enhanced with exposure of up to 1/2 day of sun.
Water: Moderate. Prefers well-drained soil.  Can be allowed to get relatively dry between waterings.

Coral Bells are a great way to add color to a shady spot in your garden.  Coral Bells feature delicate white or pinkish flowers on slender vertical stems - but they are really grown for their vibrant leaf color. 'Amber Waves', shown here, features ruffled leaves in mixed shades of pale green, amber-gold and reddish. 

We also carry a number of different Heuchera hybrids, and closely related species of Heucherella and Tiarella.  All feature ornate leaves in colors ranging from bright green to gold, red, and deep purple.
